Mark Nelson, AIA, a registered architect with 35 years experience in residential design, and has designed and space-planned over 40 public and academic libraries. Prior to establishing Nelson Architecture in 1995, Mark was a Partner in the firm of Emick Howard Nelson & Seibert, Inc. (1992 – 1994) specializing in architecture, space planning and interior design. From 1981-1992, Mark was co-founder and owner of LewisNelson Architects, designing residential projects and libraries throughout the Northwest. As a Senior Associate and Project Architect for the firm of Ridenour Cochran and Lewis (1975-1981), Mark designed educational facilities, civic centers, libraries, financial institutions and residential projects. From 1972 -1976, Mark was a Designer for several northwest churches, schools, and residential projects.
